Nature lovers will be entranced by the wildlife that lives along the creek. You’ll see all kinds of wild birds and even horses right from the sunroom and deck. A convenient dock on the property makes exploration of the inland waterway easy with a canoe or kayak.

Walk or ride your bike to main street shops and restaurants, Museums, Memorial Park, the Beebe Ranch, the carnival grounds and Chincoteague National Wildlife Preserve.

Located less than 175 miles from Washington DC (and only 60 miles south of Ocean City, MD) this rental is a perfect and easy getaway. 

During pony penning week the ponies march right by the estate on their way to the fairgrounds after the swim. Set up some lawn chairs and enjoy the parade!

A birding paradise

There are over 300 species of migratory and resident birds on Chincoteague and Assateague. Spring is a great time to see migrating shore birds and fall brings the massive waterfowl migration including thousands of Snow Geese. Assateague Island is part of the Atlantic Flyway.
